Chicken Parmesean Dip

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese at room temperature
  • 1 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 ounces shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1 boneless, skinless chicken breast cooked and finely shredded (about 1 1/2 cups)
  • 3/4 cup your favorite spaghetti sauce
  • 1/2 tablespoon essence seasoning
  • 3/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. In a large mixing bowl mix together the cream cheese, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheeses with a spoon until well combined.
  3. Add the chicken, spaghetti sauce, and seasoning to the cheeses. Mix until evenly combined.
  4. In a medium bowl, stir together the breadcrumbs, butter, and basil until the breadcrumbs are moistened.
  5. Transfer the chicken mixture to a 9-inch by 9-inch (or 10-inch by 7-inch) baking dish, and spread into an even layer.
  6. Cover the top of the dip with bread crumbs and spread into an even layer.
  7. Bake for 28 minutes, or until the cheese are melted and the edges of the dip are bubbling.
  8. Turn your oven to broil on high and cook for 1-2 more minutes or until the breadcrumbs are golden brown
  9. Carefully remove from the oven. Serve warm with toasted bread rounds or crackers.
